As the batteries wear down the cursor gets twitchy and harder to control until it just develops a tick and just sits there twitching - very annoying - gave it 3 stars for ergonomics and performance on brand new batteries. The batteries are completey gone in 3 months and the cursor starts getting twitchy after about six weeks  Great 60-day mouse., By This review is from: Gear Head 2.4GHz Wireless Optical Tilt-Wheel Nano Mouse - Red/Black (OM6500WT) (Personal Computers) This was one of my favorite mice ever.Was. It has super-fine accuracy with tiny motions and takes it all in stride when I make large, rapid movements. Smooth skid pads and reading well on a variety of mousing surfaces (read: my shiny desk) let me forget about the mouse and just use it. The buttons on the side are awkward, but I forgave it because everything else was great. Sadly, it's now two months in and the scroll wheel has started going bad. Sometimes it can't make up its mind and the web page/document/whatever shakes a little or doesn't scroll at all. Other times the even the slightest touch will send whatever I'm controlling zooming about wildly in both directions until I take my finger off and let it calm down. Shame. |
